The regular business meeting of OutWorlders was held on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at 11:08 am at Robert’s studio. Robert, Bil, JD, Ken, and Vandy Beth were present. The president called the meeting to order.

The 3rd Saturday Breakfast Salon for August went well and was well-attended.

Our current balance is between $2000 and $3000.

Game Night at Ken and Bil’s was well-attended.

Several appointive positions remain vacant.
We will not have a table at Dragon*Con this year.
We won’t do our usual Sunday night party at Dragon*Con this year, as Robert was unable to get a suite to hold it in.
The Fall Picnic should not conflict with Pride, which is October 13-14 this year. We will have it on September 16, a Sunday, at 11am. The Iron Chef ingredient will be goat cheese.
Robert will design new brochures about Outworlders for Pride.

The Yahoo! Group is getting less and less traffic and activity, while the Facebook group is growing. Also, volunteerism for our various events is down.
JD will start a Blu-Ray viewing night.
We will not have a table at Dragon*Con, or a party. We will have a Meetup Sunday night at 9pm at one of the con hotels’ bars instead; probably at the Sheraton.
The meeting adjourned at 12:15 a.m.
