The regular business meeting of OutWorlders was held on Sunday, August 15, 2010, at 11:31 am at Atlanta Diner. Kris Harter, Edward DeGruy, Cassie, and Vandy Beth Glenn were present. President DeGruy called the meeting to order.

Last month’s meeting/picnic was wonderful!

Not present.

Treasurer was not present. Report was delivered by email:

“We have $3,043.41
I apologize for missing a second meeting in a row. I would like to place the blame on the Romans and Pope Gregory XIII for not making all the months have a number of days evenly divisible by seven.
Since my June report, we have collected dues from one sponsoring member ($10.00). We have spent $60.99 to support our TimeGate party and $101.65 to support our anniversary picnic.
Our current balance is $.
Additionally, we have $57 collected at the April cook-out that was designated for a charity, but we have not identified what we are going to do with the money. We might hold on to it until we have another charity fund-raiser to make for a more substantial gift.”

The Fall picnic will be Octoberish. Cassie is still looking for a location.
Alan and Jeff will host the Halloween party.
The meeting adjourned at noon.
