The regular business meeting of OutWorlders was held on Sunday, 16 May 2004, at 2:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Diner, the President being in the chair and the Secretary being present. Members present: Bil Boozer, Ed deGruy, Michael Green, Janet Guse, Kris Harter, Alan Siler, Jeff Smith.
=== Treasurer’s Report ===
Jeff Smith reported that the organization’s bank balance was $328.55.
=== Secretary’s Report ===
Bil Boozer reported that one new member had been added to the sponsoring members mailing list since the previous business meeting.
=== Writers’ Group ===
Bil Boozer reported that the writers’ group would be meeting on Wednesday, 19 May 2004, to continue planning for the Dragon*Con project. Alan Siler and Kris Harter volunteered to present works at the group’s June meeting.
=== Dragon*Con ===
Ed DeGruy reported that he was looking for volunteers for staffing the fan table and for coordinating the party or parties at Dragon*Con. Alan Siler volunteered to coordinate the room party (or similar activity).
=== Pride ===
Ed DeGruy reported that the organization would have a booth at Pride this year. The Pride Festival is scheduled for 25-27 June.
=== Science Fiction Summer Con ===
Ed DeGruy reported that members from OutWorlders were scheduled to participate in six panels at SFSCon, which is scheduled for 11-13 June. A fan table for the group has been reserved.
=== Gaming Night ===
The monthly gaming night is scheduled for 22 May 2004, this Saturday.
The meeting adjourned at 2:19 p.m. The next scheduled meeting is 20 June 2004 at 2 p.m. at the Atlanta Diner.
