What we liked about this book: Pretty much everything. Didn't have to believe in time travel to enjoy the book, just accept it. Was a more honest depiction of slavery. Didn't romanticize the relationships between white men and black female slaves.<br>
What we didn’t like: The main character had little to no control throughout the book.
Verdict: Thumbs up!
