What we liked about this book: The general consensus was that we enjoyed the development of the main characters. It was a beautiful disaster in slow motion that we loved to hate.
What we didn’t like: Science. So much of it. Also the child abuse. But most people were put off by the fact that the great character development came at the cost of plot progression, making the story feel like a "slow river" that we were drowning in.

Verdict: Meh. 1 like, 1 dislike, 3 in-betweens.
