Middlegame by Seanan McGuire

Robert Allen was the coordinator. 4 people attended: Robert, Sophie, and Bil, Ed.

We went over these items:

1. Next meeting is April 17. The book is The Dark Beyond the Stars by Frank M. Robinson.

Book discussion recap:

What we liked: The main characters go on a journey, and we were invested in what happened to them. The antagonists were despicable people but we enjoyed reading about them. Liked the “magic” system. The sibling interactions seemed real --sometimes mad at each other and sometimes getting along. What we disliked: The pacing.

Verdict: Thumbs up!
