Treasurer

Current membership 12, received $45 at December game night. 2024 budget proposal: Includes money for Meetup, website, two picnics, a new 6 foot sign, taxes fees & licenses, and reinstatement of 501c status (which uses previously collected funds). Goal for sponsorimng memberships is higher than in the past.

Blood on Clocktower update: Event was organized by Tolen May, we promoted it on Meetup for him but it was not an official OutWorlders event. Reports are that it went well. Something we might be able to offer in partnership with Tolen?

December's Game Day was held Sat. Dec. 2 at Outfront, 21 attended, 2 new people. Valet parking is for the restaurant, not for OutFront. Parking should be free for us at OutFront, if valet charges anyone, let Robert or Leah know.

December's happy hour was held Thurs. Dec. 14 at Church. One attendee.

OutReaders Book club was held Sat. Dec. 16 via Zoom. Read Mama Day by Gloria Naylor.

Upcoming Events

January's game day will be Sat. Jan. 6, 7 p.m. at Robert Marshall's house.

January's Happy hour will be Thurs. Jan. 18, 7 p.m. at Red's Beer Garden.

OutReaders book club will meet Sat. Jan. 20, 2 pm via Zoom. In the Lives of Puppets by TJ Klune.

Regular business meeting will be Sunday Jan. 21, 11 am via Zoom.

February's game day will be Sat. Feb. 3, 1 pm at OutFront

OutReaders book club will meet Sat. Feb. 17, 2 pm via Zoom. Book TBD.

Public Relations Coordinator

Facebook: 895 members, 3 of them new. Page views are down, possibly due to bump we got from Pride. Top post on Page and Group: Game Day OutFront.

Instagram: 572 followers, 19 of them new. 45 profile visits. 5 website taps. Top post: Game Day OutFront.

Meetup: 807 members, 42 of them new.

Internet Coordinator

Vacant. Duties performed by Christian Hain. Created a first draft Wix site to hand off to new internet coordinator.

OutReaders SIG

Read Mama Day by Gloria Naylor. Two attendees, they liked the book (2 thumbs up), no complaints except the book is hard to classify.

Unfinished Business

Budget: covered earlier.

Bylaws: on hold till 2024.

501c3: on hold till 2024.

Vertical sign: on hold till 2024.

Selling games: on hold, will not happen in January.

New Business

Ravensburger: Kelly Nelson, and OutWorlder, reached out to President to connect us with a Ravensburger rep. The rep agreed to sponsor an Outworlders event. The rep, Phil, is an ally and LGBTQ+ supporter. Rep cannot attend the Jan. 6 game night but Kelly will be there and will rep for Ravensburger. Ravensburger to also donate games with condition that they can speak to the group for a few minutes about Ravensburger.

Happy hour: Poorly defined, timing is not a traditional happy hour, there are no games, some new attendees don't play board games, attendance is low. What do we want happy hour to be? How can it benefit both OutWorlders and new attendees? Can we turn it into a weeknight board game night? Some Outworlders cannot go to a Saturday daytime game day. My Parents Basement? Joystick? Battle and Brew? Mouse's studio? Red's?

Internet coordinator: Position is vacant, need a new one.

Merchandise: We do have some hoodies on hand. Could store them at Robert Marshall's.
