Officer Reports

• President: Worked with Vice-President to audit game library. Updated Meetup topics to try and boost discovery. Met the original founder of OutWorlders at Game Night.
• Vice-President: Testing new T-shirt vendor: Printify. Blocked a member on Meetup for a spam photo. Scouted location for game days.
• Treasurer: Only expenses so far were $30 corporate registration and bank fees, a total of 15 members.
• Secretary: No Report.
• Events Coordinator: Vacant, duties performed by Vice-President. March’s movie night was Encanto, six attendees; April’s game night at Robert Marshall’s house, 35 attendees; April’s book club met virtually to discuss The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton, five attendees; April’s movie night will be on the 23rd to watch Dune (2021) RPG club did not meet due to COVID-19, they are also having trouble finding a public venue because they prefer to meet Thursday or Friday nights; May game night TBD, it may be a game day; May happy hour will be held on Wednesday the 11th at Battle & Brew for Geek Trivia.
• Public Relations Coordinator: Submitted reports for March and April, only April’s report was discussed. Eight new Facebook Group members, eight new Instagram followers, one less Twitter follower, and 50 Twitter profile visits. Brandon loses Facebook permissions randomly and notes that the original group founder (David Jr.) has been approving members but doesn’t participate in meetings, not sure if anybody knows who he is or if we should ask to transfer ownership of the group.
• Internet Coordinator: Vacant, duties performed by President. Updated SSL certificates. Some people found our website by searching for “ers game”. Nobody’s sure what they’re trying to search.
• Historian: Vacant. No report.

Committee and SIG Reports

• Bylaws Committee: No updates.
• Out@theMovies SIG: No written report.
• OutReaders SIG: Five attendees met via Zoom to discuss The 7 1⁄2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turto, three thumbs-up, 1 1/2 thumbs sideways. Robert notes that some people who find out about us on Meetup attend only once because it’s virtual and they’re interested in the book.
• RPG Group: Not a formal SIG, no written report.

Unfinished Business

• RPG SIG: No updates
• 2022 Vision: Robert Allen mentioned looking into Discord as a way to grow, Andy is familiar with the platform. Also mentioned Twitter.
• Fundraising Ideas: Still interested in exploring. No ideas at the moment.
• 2022 Atlanta Pride: Discussed needing a contact to get started

New Business

Public-Venue Game Days: Christian discussed moving Game Nights to Game Days to accommodate size and newcomers from meetups. Robert Allen and Brandon researched the Buckhead Library, Scott’s Crossing Library, and Guac y Margys’ Amsterdam/Midtown location. Buckhead library manager would like to work with us and help post the event. Library reservations need to be requested two weeks before the event. Guac y Margys has two inside rooms with semi-privacy, it is a gay-owned business, however, weekend traffic may be busy. All options are good, libraries might be better for strategy-style games. Will do Buckhead Library in May (1 pm–6 pm with one-hour extension), Guac y Margys in June.

Open Floor

Anniversary Party: Need to talk about Anniversary Party, Robert would like to host indoors since it rained last time. Perhaps we could host at Guac y Margys.
