The regular business meeting of OutWorlders was held on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at 11:05 am at Robert’s studio. Ken, Bil, Vandy Beth, Cassie, Robert, and J.D. were present. The president called the meeting to order.
It’s a new year! Robert is our returning Internet Coordinator and Cassie is our new Events Coordinator. Public Relations and Historian are unassigned.

There are six new paid members since last month.

Game Night went well.

We’ll hold training on posting events to the website during the business meeting.
No Historian, but J.D. keeps taking pictures. He’ll serve in an interim capacity.
Special Interest Groups Reports
The 2012 budget was approved.
We have five Yahoo! Groups, which is more than we need. We will shut down the special interest groups, the Sponsors list, and the Announcements list.
The weekly announcements need to be simplified. The Calendar on our website and the Facebook group need to be used more.
Robert showed all present how to create an event on the website.
The site needs updating; the current content is years old. J.D. will update it with help from Robert.
Cassie Will create a “5th Saturday” event for months that have five Saturdays. The first such this year will be in March.
The next Friday Night Feature will be H.P.Lovecraft themed.
