December 2011
The regular business meeting of OutWorlders was held on Sunday, December 18, 2011, at 11:30 am at Robert’s studio. Robert, Cassie, J.D., Vandy Beth, Bil, and Ken were present. The president called the meeting to order.
Officer Reports
President’s Report
Awesome events this month. Great Game Night.
Vice President’s Report
No report.
Secretary’s Report
The Holiday party at Chris Lund’s house was great. Chris Lund wants to join the rotation for hosting Game Nights in 2012.
Treasurer’s Report
We have one new paid member (J.D.) since the last meeting.
Bil introduced a proposed budget for next year. It is attached to these minutes.
Events Coordinator’s Report
The holiday party went very well. Friday Night Feature had two attendees, which is about average.
Public Relations Coordinator’s Report
Not assigned.
Internet Coordinator’s Report
The Internet exists. Robert wants to train the 2012 officers in how to use the features of our web site early in the new year.
Historian’s Report
For every Outworlders event J.D. attends, he takes copious photos and uploads them to his flickr site.
Election Coordinator’s Report
Alan and Paolo both dropped out of the race for president.

New Business
The election was held. Ken was elected President. J.D. was elected vice-president. Vandy Beth was elected secretary. Bil was elected treasurer.
J.D. wants to start a movie-event night or a TV-watching event, like the old Buffy viewing parties we used to have in the early Aughts.
We’ll also start a “5th Saturday” event for months that have a fifth Saturday.
The meeting adjourned at 11:38 a.m.
