New Business
Kris Harter introduced the following proposal:
“I propose that the Outworlders allocate $100.00 for an advertisement on the back cover of the OutlantaCon program book.”
The proposal was tabled until next month’s meeting.
This month was the last month that we can propose a fan table, ad, or party for Frolicon 2009.
Vandy Beth Glenn suggested we have a fan table at Frolicon. Aimee Love will email Beth about this.
Edward DeGruy claimed that Frolicon is “not a genre con,” and this question was vigorously debated.
If we have the table at Frolicon, it will need to be staffed.
The Starlight Six Drive-In on Moreland Avenue has a flea market from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. The cost is $10 plus a $10 mandatory cleaning deposit for each space. Edward suggested that Outworlders set up a space there on February 28th to sell old books, games, etc. We can bring tables and chairs. The selling of food, animals, bootlegs, and bootleg food and animals is not allowed.
Carlton Harrington communicated by proxy that he wants us to pester Dragon*Con to create a “Q” programming track.
The movie outing to see Watchmen will be at Atlantic Station on Saturday, March 7th, at around 1 or 2 p.m. (specific showtimes were not yet known at meeting time).
Old Business

The meeting adjourned at 2:53 p.m.
Respectfully submitted by Vandy Beth Glenn, Secretary, Atlanta Outworlders.
