OutWorlders, Inc.

The regular business meeting of OutWorlders was held on Sunday, 19 March 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Diner. Ken Fernandez, William Boozer, Carlton Harrington, Ed deGruy, Jeff Smith, Robert Marshal and Dan Berge present.

Jeff reported that we have $1332.68 in the bank and 23 sponsoring members.

Public Relations Coordinator, Ed, talked about MOMO Con and several other possible events of interests, including The Renaissance Festival and DragonCon Staff meeting which is May 13th at 4pm. He also reported that there were no entries for the logo contest and that he would be looking for volunteers to help design the logo. Robert’s proposal to set aside $75 for the Spring Picnic was approved. It has been scheduled for May 21. More details to come including Iron Chef Robert’s chosen ingredient.

Bill reported that that the Readers group enjoyed Middlesex, but that having read so many bad books in the last few months, they are considering opening up their selections to include books without GLBT themes.

Bill also reported that the Writers group had decided to change it’s name to Outworld Writers.
